Because our systems are fully integrated with computer control we can take advantage of the facilities provided by the computer. These include the storage and playback of music or films and the possibility of Internet access, depending on the exact nature of the installation.

While many users will choose not to work on board, many busy individuals will appreciate the opportunity to stay in touch or combine work with leisure or travel.
Bluetooth is revolutionizing the integration of appliances into custom systems. Just one of the ways in which Internet access may be provided is via a bluetooth enabled mobile 'phone. This is a flexible solution with international usability in locations where land-based GSM phone systems can be reached. Inmarsat and Iridium provide alternatives when out of contact with the shore.
Shore facilities can increasingly be expected to provide wired or wireless access to their LAN and thence to the WAN.
IVMS
Intelligent Vessel Management System
The IVMS offers remote monitoring and control of existing vessel management systems. Using a touch screen technology this scalable product can integrate with CCTV, navigation, monitoring and entertainment systems.
The HMI (Human machine Interface - Touch Screen) is capable of interacting with all electrically accessible features of a vessel. Smaller handheld keypad devices can also be added to the network to give monitoring and control regardless of location on the vessel.
