Dip Print is a technique providing a wide range of patterns which can be superimposed on a painted surface. These range from patterns drawn from nature e.g. stone and wood to abstract geometric or patterns mimicking other man-made materials such as carbon fibre.
The film is supplied in 50cm X 500m and 80cm X 500m rolls and will conform to complex 3D objects. The inks are lead-free and non-toxic. The finish has to be seen to appreciate just how good a deception is possible...
The finish is a thin polymer (PVA) skin which is floated in a water bath, prior to soaking with activator. The floating film semi-liquefies and adheres tenaciously and evenly to objects passed through it.
We can sand- and bead-blast components prior to painting for the highest quality finish
